With proper maintenance our hair can go the distance. The expiration date on our hair will greatly depend on your dedication to proper upkeep, hydration, heat protection, sleep regimen, and more. Our I-tips and Tape-ins are reusable with proper maintenance. Our K-tip extensions are typically not reusable, but will be flawless throughout the duration of your install with proper maintenance. Frontals and closures naturally shed overtime, and will require replacements. Our bundles can last 3+ years with proper maintenance.

Our products come in natural brown in the rawest form. In our k-tips, i-tips, & tape-ins we also offer color-treated blonde #613, #2, and #4. Our bundles and closures come in natural brown or blonde #613. Selecting color-treated hair means that you accept that your hair will be altered from its natural raw state.

Absolutely! Our hair is raw and sourced from donors of Cambodia & Southern Indian temples. Given this fact, it may behave as you would expect from human hair. We recommend allowing a licensed cosmetologist/colorist to color your bundles.

The Indian and Cambodian women who donate their hair typically wash their hair multiple times per week. Thus, we suggest washing or cowashing your hair 1-2 times per week. The use of hair products may prompt more frequent washes. Wash your hair in a vertical motion to avoid tangling. Try not to get oily products or conditioner on your roots when wearing k-tips, i-tips, or tape-ins as it may cause your extensions to slip.

You need to stay away from products that contain sulfates if possible. In the event that you can’t locate a sulfate-free shampoo/conditioner it is important that you select a hydrating product. Try not to get oily products or conditioner on your roots as it may cause slipping. Avoid wetting your tape-ins for at least 72 hours after your install.

Yes, we recommend a small amount of Shea Moisture Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Restore Leave-In Conditioner. Adding a touch of coconut oil to your leave-in conditioner is also beneficial. We recommend only adding such products to the hair below your jawline to avoid extension slippage.

We recommend Chi 44 Thermal Protectant Spray.

We recommend daily brushing your hair to prevent tangling (especially k-tips). Gently brush row by row. Use a denman brush. Start from the ends of your hair and work your way to the top. Be sure to tend to your natural hair as well. Ensure that k-tip & i-tip wet hair is thoroughly brushed out before placing into a ponytail to avoid tangling.

Selecting kinky curly or kinky straight as your product of choice means that you fully understand that your product(s) has endured a steam process which alters it from its original raw state. Selecting colors blonde #613, #2, or #4 for your product(s) means that you agree to your product being altered from its naturally raw state.

Raw hair patterns are not always identical. We do our best to match your bundles to ensure a seamless look. Please order products that you wish to mimic each other all at the same time.

Dissatisfaction with our products must be communicated within 48 hours of order delivery.

You may return unaltered and unopened items in exchange for store credit. All returns are subject to inspection prior to a store credit being issued. The items must not have been combed through, washed, cut, worn, colored, brushed, and the original ties must remain fully intact. Sublime Idols Hair Extensions reserves the right to deny store credit issuance should the product fail the return inspection.

The returned shipment MUST include your full name, phone number, the reason for the return, and a copy of your original receipt. 

It is recommended that you do not include “Hair Extensions” on the shipping label to help reduce the chance of theft throughout the shipping process.

Following your order confirmation the processing time PRIOR TO shipment is 1-5 business days.
